Holiday Card Making

Sagonaska Students Spread Holiday Cheer
Posted on 01/08/2024

In the spirit of giving back and spreading joy during the holiday season, students at
Sagonaska Demonstration School participated in a heartwarming initiative, Christmas card making. We saw young talents pouring their creativity into crafting festive cards, each adorned with warm holiday
greetings and well wishes.

For the past two years, Dahlia May Flower, a renowned flower farm nestled in Stockdale, Ontario, initiated the "Community Christmas
Giving" program, calling upon local schools to contribute their artistic endeavors and pairs it with a potted Kalanchoe plant.

This collaborative effort has proven to be a beacon of compassion, bringing smiles to the faces of over 10,000 residents in local Long Term Care homes and hospitals during the
festive season. It is a beautiful reminder of the power of community, empathy, and the joy that can be spread through simple gestures.
